Ulbricht sphere

Create 98% homogeneity

The highly homogeneous radiating integrating spheres from CI Systems were developed for the VIS-SWIR wavelength range. The system provides homogeneous radiation for camera testing across a broad spectral range.

Three standard sizes are available: output diameters of 1, 2, and 4 inches. By using a highly reflective inner coating, the system is able to produce a homogeneity of over 98% at its output.

A continuously variable output is achieved with a high-resolution motorized attenuator. An increased dynamic range can be achieved with optional neutral density filters. Using different light sources, the system can be adapted to achieve higher luminance and wider dynamic ranges.

Low-light integrating sphere

The low-light integrating sphere is also designed for the VIS-SWIR wavelength range. The system provides uniform low-light radiation for testing night vision cameras that require very low radiation and is available in 2 and 4 inch output diameters.

Options:

  • Manual or fully automatic motorized illumination control
  • Option for SR-300 standard: Increased dynamic range through the introduction of ND filters at the output aperture of the sphere
  • Light source: LEDs
  • InGaAs detector
  • Motorized filter wheel for additional calibrated spectral output (up to 8 filters)
  • Other color temperatures are optional
